The recipes are FINALLY on the blog!

Happy Saturday Reader!

I thought I'd pop into your inbox to announce that I have fiiiinally added the recipes I use for my sugar cookies and buttercream frosting to the blog. I don't know what took me so long but they are here now!

The sugar cookie recipe is great because it is a no chill recipe. You start with cold ingredients and there's only a few to put in there. I will say, if you lack air conditioning in your house and it gets up in the 90s in your kitchen, then yeah, I'd chill for maybe 30 minutes. BUT, I use this recipe anytime we aren't having a heat wave in the PNW and I obtain beautiful, no spread, sugar cookies without chilling. They are vanilla flavored because that's my favorite. Find the recipe here: https://buttercreamparties.com/easy-cut-out-sugar-cookie-recipe-no-chill/

The buttercream frosting is crusting so you can individually package them or even stack them if you wish. I use real butter in mine but mix it with shortening to obtain a nice crust and smooth texture. Check it out here: https://buttercreamparties.com/crusting-buttercream-icing-for-sugar-cookies/

I hope you get the chance to try these out if you don't already have your go-to favorite recipe.

Have a great rest of your weekend!

Happy Decorating!
